Listen to success stories from start-up mavericks and industry experts and learn hands-on with mentors. And get a chance to pitch your ideas to our partners and sponsors for exciting prizes and the possibility of turning that great idea into market reality.
Step 1: Form a team of five members. You can be undergraduate or graduate students. Or faculty members. Alumni are welcome also. The key is making sure that you come from a diverse background – we want tech people joining forces with the business and arts guys. Faculty and alumni must volt in with students for team eligibility. If you don’t have a team, you can still register and participate. We will assign you to a team prior to the event.
Step 2: Please check our event site for updates on the mechanics and the fine print. Then register online. If you’re at it, like us at FaceBook too www.facebook.com/IdeaSpacePH.
Step 3: Get ready with that idea. Prior to the event, DLSU organizers will have a pre-work activity. You will also be meeting a lot of cool mentors during the event. Stick to your guns but be willing to keep an open mind.
Step 4: June 29 is the big day! Cool and inspiring talks during the morning session. In the afternoon, there will be ideation sessions for your teams with mentors on hand to help. You will still have time in the afternoon to work with your team mates and mentors to get ready for the business pitches competition. Ask questions. And when it’s your moment to take the spotlight in front of the judges, make your presentation short but to the point. Fellowship with fellow DLSU friends and partners will cap the day.
